For the first time in their lengthy history, the Chicago Blackhawks will televise all 82 of their games next season.

The move comes after their owner passed away this past year, who had a longstanding tradition of blacking out games when the arena was not sold out.

Instead, the new management team has decided it is better to get more fans interested in the team by letting them watch the games on tv.

I think this is a great strategy as the future looks bright for a young talented team that should entertain their fans for years to come.

Heated Blades Not Working?!

After four NHL players tested the new heated blade technology the NHLPA gave a big thumbs down for the approval of them.  Toronto’s Mark Bell, Chicago’s Martin Lapointe, Detroit’s Kris Draper, Edmonton’s Marty Reasoner and Calgary’s Matthew Lombardi all used them and Reasoner was the only person who thought they performed well.

Wayne Gretzky became a part-owner in the company and has stated that this product would revolutionize the game of hockey.

Therma Blade is a battery operated skate blade that heats up when you go on the ice and supposedly allows you to skate faster and accelerate quicker.  These claims appear to be false.
