TSN and CBC have recently conducted a pole to see who should represent Canada at the 2010 winter Olympics in Men’s Ice Hockey and the results are hard to argue with.  The Calgary Flames are represented by three players; Jarome Iginla, Dion Phaneuf and Robyn Regehr.  Roberto Luongo and Martin Brodeur were the top two goaltenders while Sidney Crosby, Jasan Spezza and Dany Heatley were among the top vote getter’s on the offensive side of the team.

Obviously with this happening two years early many things could happen but no matter who is on the team I will be excited to watch them play.

Who do you think is missing?

Ryan Smyth, Paul Stastny, and Joe Sakic have resumed skating with the Colorado Avalanche.  The Avalanche have been doing fine without the three, but having them back in the lineup will add to their potent offensive attack which is bad news for the rest of the Northwest division.

Colorado is currently 2nd in the Northwest and 6th overall in the Western Conference.  They are 5th in terms of scoring in the West.
