Andre Roy Snaps

In a recent game against he Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning enforcer Andre Roy snapped after a fight replay was shown of him getting one punched by the Flyers Riley Cote.  He had to be restrained by coach Jon Tortorella on the bench after the video was shown. 

Roy made a throat cut gesture towards Cote. 

The team has sent him home while they decide his fate.

Two Stars Back Tonight

Both Sidney Crosby and Peter Forsberg will be returning to the game tonight. 

Sid the kid had been out since January with a high ankle sprain and will join his Pittsburgh Penguin teammates as they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. 

Meanwhlie out West Peter Forsberg will join the Colorado Avalanche as they face the Vancouver Canucks.  He will be a welcome addition as Colorado recently lost both Ryan Smyth and Marek Svatos for long periods of time.

Well today is the big day and the moves are already happening.  So far the East has done a few minor deals and lost some big names and the West has continued to improve, sounds like the NBA does it not?  So far we have Brad Richards going to the Stars while Brian Campbell is now a member of the San Jose Sharks.  In a surprise move the Habs unloaded Huet to the Washington Capitals for only a second round draft pick.
